Description
Creve Coeur is an AA (Giant) Semi-Cactus Red dahlia. Introduced by Simon in 1992 it remains a winning dahlia in the shows, but it is better suited for the garden and for blooms to serve as a centerpiece. The occasional slightly heart shape is points off in the shows. But with the satisfying shade of red, it is quite nice in a vase. Every time we try to cut back on our giant dahlias, this is one that we bring back the next season.
